 Field of Use :

Notch high Q filter with BNC connectors. It allows the reduction of broadcasting frequencies from 88 to 108MHz. This version designed to be matched only to receivers, scanners or SDR allows low-loss reception of frequencies adjacent to the FM band such as the civil band at 78mhz and the 120MHz aerial. The Amphenol connectors, compared to most of the connectors in circulation, allows a strong anchoring to the radio and the antenna and ensures that the antenna does not turn with its weight on itself.

It can also be used in the RX part on radio amateur and civilian bridges both in voice and in digital APRS including.

As you can see from the chart above thanks to manual calibration you can adjust the deep exactly to 88, 98 and 108 MHz and not as happens on the filters of all the competition where the filter responses is different from each other because there is no possibility of calibration.

Che differenza c'è rispetto a filtri notch più economici che ho visto in rete ?

Tutti i nostri filtri notch montano induttanze e condensatori ceramici ad alto Q e con tolleranze inferiori all'1%. Le induttanze regolabili al loro interno permetto la taratura a mano dei filtri permettendo una esatta e precisa attenuazione a 88,98 e 108 MHz. Questo permette di produrre filtri perfettamente tarati e con basse attenuazioni in banda aerea e bande civili.

Unexpected results
I was a little sceptical about the opportunity of using a broadcast band notch on my FM handheld. Geeez, I was wrong! The desensivitization on the receiver, expecially close to broadcast masts up in the alps is simply unbelievable. I blamed the lack of sens. to the poor quality of the front end, but it was really a matter of out band signals impacting it. I would solder this filter to my radio, it's not going to come off from there.

Soddisfatto al 120%
L’ho testato inizialmente con il Baofeng GT3-TP Mark 3 in abbinamento con la Diamond SRH 771 in uso portatile e con una Hoxin magnetica bibanda in uso veicolare ho risolto tutti i problemi di ricezione nelle zone più critiche (più esposte a trasmissioni radio 88-108 dove la saturazione mi rendeva impossibile ricevere anche i segnali dei ponti “a vista”). In trasmissione non ho notato rilevanti cali di rendimento anche testando l’aggancio di ripetitori distanti. Ho azzardato alla massima potenza (8W dichiarati) dopo circa 15 minuti di QSO il filtro era appena tiepido. Spero che non comporti problemi alla lunga. Devo dire che sono soddisfatto al 120%
